EaSecure Privacy Policy

Our business is to make your email communication private so we take your privacy very seriously. The following is our policy regarding your personal data that may be collected by us.

1. We do not collect any personal data from visitors to our web site. No cookies or other type of identification data will be used to track visitors to our site.
    

2. The only data we collect through the use of EaSecure software is your email address and your public keys. (When you send out EaSecure messages, the recipient list and the subject, may be sent to an EaSecure server for issuing certificates or one-time passwords, but these data will never be stored.) Your public keys will be stored in our Certificate Server associated with your email address and can be accessed by anyone who knows your email address and wishes to send an EaSecure message to you. Your private keys will only be kept on your computer protected by your personal password known only to you, or stored in the export files you create. Your private keys, personal passwords, and your Export File Passwords are never sent to us and our employees will never ask for them. We do not have access to the messages encrypted by your public key or messages you send out and encrypted by the recipients' public keys, even if you choose to route your EaSecure messages through the EaSecure SMTP server.
    

3. When you pay subscription fees, certain personal information may be collected by our payment processor PayPal. Please read the PayPal privacy policy regarding how your personal data will be protected at PayPal. We do not have access to your personal data collected by PayPal during the payment process, except your email address, the payment amount, and the payment status (whether the payment is successful, denied, or pending).
    

4. Your email addresses will only be used for contacting you regarding matters related to EaSecure Services. We will never sell, rent, or otherwise disclose your email address and related information to any third party, except when legally required in order for us to respond to subpoenas, court orders, warrants, or other legal processes.
