Password Caching

     

You can instruct an EaSecure client (either a plug-in or the standalone client) to remember your password for certain time period so that you do not have to enter it every time you open or send an EaSecure message. To ask the EaSecure client to remember your password, check the box "Remember Password" and enter the number of minutes you want the password to be remembered as shown in the following:

You can also select the "Remember EaSecure Password" under the "Tools" menu to enable or disable password remembering. A check mark on the menu item indicates that the password will be remembered.

The cached password will always be cleared when the standalone client exits. However, you do not have to exit the standalone client to open another message. For plug-ins, the cached password will always be cleared when your email program exits.
