EaSecure combines "ease" and "secure" into the world's easiest and most secure system to protect your email communications. EaSecure is a public key encryption based secure email system, just like S/MIME and PGP, but is made extremely easy to use. EaSecure version 1.0 include features:

• Strongest encryption available - RSA public key encryption of up to 4096-bit (default is 2048-bit) and 256-bit AES.
• Digital signature - RSA digital signature of up to 4096-bit (default is 2048-bit) and SHA256 (256-bit secure hash).
• Extremely easy to setup - There is no complex setup procedure. All setup procedures, including generating public/private keys and obtaining digital certificates, are automatically completed when you open your first EaSecure message using a one-time password.
• Ability to send to ANYONE - You can send secure messages to anyone who has an email address even if the recipient is not yet an EaSecure user.
• Certified Receipt - You can obtain a receipt digitally signed by the EaSecure server certifying that the recipient has opened your message at a particular time. You have the option of specifying whether the receipt should be sent only to you or to you and all recipients of the same message.
• Compression - The message is automatically compressed, so you can send large attachments faster.
• Key management functions - You can move your keys to other computers, keep backup copies of your keys, change your key, change the password protecting the key, delete the key, etc.
• Smart password reset options - When you are a new user and forget your password, EaSecure allows you to easily reset your password. When you become a serious user, EaSecure automatically raises the security bar for resetting your password, giving you better protection.

You can use EaSecure as a plug-in for your email client or as a standalone program. You can download both versions from http://www.easecure.com/download.html. Please visit the download page to check whether a plug-in for your email client is available. If a plug-in for your email client is not available, or you do not want to use a plug-in, you can always use EaSecure standalone client. Even if you use a plug-in, it is always handy to also install a standalone client. For example, you may want to save some important messages as ".eas" files, which can only be opened by the standalone client.

EaSecure version 1.0 only supports English. However, this only means that the text in dialog and message boxes are English only. The content of your EaSecure message can be in any language as long as your system supports Unicode.
